Setcells Homepage

This is the setcells home page. Setcells is a utility you can use to update your AFS cache manager(s) on the fly from a CellServDB file. While this could be done with perl scripting and the "fs newcell" command, this approach is a single C program that operates efficiently without forking or relying upon external programs (in particular, not perl itself!)

The latest version is 1.0.4, which you may download from here. You may also read the on-line manual page.

Note: The files in this directory are tar archives compressed with GNU zip. You can find both GNU zip and GNU tar at the main GNU repository located at ftp://prep.ai.mit.edu/pub/gnu. (Most UNIX vendors ship with a "tar" utility, so you'll probably only need GNU zip if you don't already have it.)

Note that I no longer have access to an AFS cell, so am not maintaining setcells any longer. (If you would like to take over maintainership duties of setcells, let me know.)
